The Loop Lab Media Arts Journeyman credential is a workforce-recognized certification awarded to individuals who complete The Loop Lab’s advanced media arts apprenticeship. This program is designed for early-career creatives seeking to deepen their skills in professional AV production, storytelling, and digital content creation. Graduates of this program are equipped to work in live event production, broadcast, post-production, nonprofit media, and other creative industries.

Credential Description
This credential certifies that the earner has demonstrated technical proficiency, project readiness, and creative professionalism across core areas of media production. Learners train in both studio and field environments and apply their skills through real-world client projects, mentorship, and rigorous hands-on practice.
Credential holders gain experience in:
Audio and video recording, editing, and post-production
Lighting setup and camera operation
Interviewing and story development
Working with professional clients and AV teams
Media project planning, timelines, and asset delivery
Ethical storytelling and inclusive content practices
Credential Earners Are Prepared To:
Work as entry-level AV technicians, editors, production assistants, or junior producers
Contribute to live events, corporate AV, nonprofit media, and community storytelling projects
Collaborate across diverse teams and respond to real-time production needs
