Barry Mamadou

Typically not a fan of being on the other side of a camera, we do not have a picture of Mr. Mamadou. However his work says so much more about the man himself. Barry is an emerging storyteller, and digital content creator from the Boston area. Originally born on the African continent, Barry has a passion for all things in Afrofuturism, and sees the Loop Lab as a pathway to advance his professional skills.

Since graduating our program in Oct. 2020, Barry has received a scholarship to attend Lesley School of Art + Design in their digital filmmaking BFA program through our partnership with the school!
