Pre-Apprenticeship

At The Loop Lab, our Pre-Apprenticeship Program for middle school and high school students (separate), is meticulously crafted to equip underrepresented youth with the essential skills and knowledg&e for both career and college readiness in the media arts sector.

Career Readiness:

  • Hands-On Training: Students engage in practical experiences with industry-standard equipment and software, fostering technical proficiency crucial for media arts careers.​

  • Professional Development: The curriculum emphasizes workplace competencies such as effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, preparing students for professional environments.​

  • Industry Exposure: Collaborations with media professionals and organizations provide insights into various career paths, facilitating informed decision-making and networking opportunities.​

College Readiness:

  • Academic Enrichment: The program integrates academic support to strengthen foundational skills, ensuring students meet the prerequisites for higher education programs.​

  • College Credit Opportunities: Through partnerships with institutions like Lesley University's College of Art and Design, students may earn college credits, easing their transition into degree programs. ​
